G7, Europe’s leading taxi operator, is strengthening its commitment to an enhanced customer experience by integrating the Alipay+ payment solution into the vehicles of its fleet.
G7, Europe’s leading taxi operator, is strengthening its commitment to an enhanced customer experience by integrating the Alipay+ payment solution into the vehicles of its fleet.
Activating this solution enables more than 10,000 G7 affiliated taxi drivers to accept cross border payments, making transactions easier for their international customers.
With the Alipay+ solution, customers can pay their ride directly from their mobile phone by scanning the QR code generated on the vehicle’s payment terminal.
This new payment method adds to the range of cutting edge payment solutions already offered by G7, including contactless card payment above €50 and the G7 Connect service, which allows customers to pay directly through the G7 Taxi mobile app.
Thanks to this integration, G7 continues to position itself as an inclusive player in payment technologies within the passenger transport sector.
