G7 unveils the launch of a new exclusive service available via the G7 TAXI app, its website, and via its call centers.
All persons with disabilities, whether visible or invisible, can now indicate their individual requirements in their customer profile and be provided with a vehicle and driver specially adapted to their needs.
In addition, to simplify the booking process for passengers with reduced mobility, the G7 TAXI public app now features a new “ACCESSIBILITY” section, bringing together the three new service levels of the G7 ACCESS offer:
• G7 Access Standard: low-floor vehicles providing easier access on board. New.
• G7 Access Coffre +: station wagons vehicles adapted for passengers using transferable wheelchairs. New.
• G7 Access Rampe: more than 550 van-type vehicles equipped with access ramps, adapted for non-foldable wheelchairs, driven by drivers trained by staff from Garches hospital, ensuring safe and appropriate care for passengers with reduced mobility.
This new inclusive system has been developed in collaboration with several organisations committed to supporting people with disabilities. Relevant associations and customers have been involved in a collaborative process to better understand the specific needs of each passenger profile and to design concrete solutions tailored to each situation.
